HOME / TEST & TAG

TEST & TAG
Workplace electrical compliance for Auckland businesses. Scheduled testing, asset registers, paperwork done.
WHAT IS TEST & TAG?
Test and tag is the regular electrical safety check on portable equipment in your workplace. Power tools, kettles, leads, extension cords, anything with a plug. Each item gets tested, tagged with a date, and added to your register.
Done properly, it keeps you compliant with workplace health and safety requirements and means your insurance doesn’t have a reason to push back if something goes wrong.

WHAT WE DO

Each item is tagged with the test date and next test due, so your team can see what is current at a glance.
ASSET REGISTER UPDATED
Your asset register is kept and updated, giving you a clear record of tested equipment.

frequently asked questions
How often do I need to test and tag?
Depends on your industry and what kind of equipment. Construction is generally 3 months. Most offices and workplaces are 12 months. We’ll set the right schedule for your site.
Is it a legal requirement?
Required on construction sites. For other workplaces it’s effectively required under the Health and Safety at Work Act, even if it’s not called out by name.
How much does it cost?
Charged per item with a minimum site fee. Smaller workplaces are typically a few hundred dollars. Larger sites we’ll quote on after a quick walkthrough.
